2010 Results Now Available! (Updated)
NEW: Athlete Information
The Athletics Nova Scotia reception will take in the Courtside Lounge in Tower immedialtely following the last race.
Massage start at 5:30 pm in the Lifemark Office on the main floor of the Tower.
There are 2 ATM's on campus...one is in the student union building at the North end of the track and the other is in Loyola (the building behind the stadium).
Time Change: Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Tower.
Awards and prize money can be picked up in the Courtside Lounge on the second floor of the Tower, near the area where registration took place. Athletes will need to show their bib numbers to claim their awards.
July 16th: Aileen Meagher Meet Schedule now available.
Coaches who have an athlete in the Meagher can register for a pass by emailing Peter.Lord@dal.ca. Your pass maybe picked up at the registration area 2nd floor of the Tower. Coaches who do not have an athlete in the meet or do not register will be required to purchase a ticket at the main gate.

Travel
Athletes arriving by plane will be greeted and transported to Saint Mary's University by one of our three drivers.
Scratches
If you have registered for the meet and are not planning to compete or are scratching from from a 2nd event would you please notify registration coordinator, Peter Lord at peter.lord@dal.ca
Registration
Registration will begin at 4:00pm at the Courtside lounge on the second floor of the Tower. Athletes may only enter the registration area through the Tower and not the main gate.
Payment is required to pick up your number. No ATM available at the Tower.
Marshalling
We will be running the event on time, a final schedule will be on the website on Monday, August 2nd. Your cooperation is required to make the meet run on time. Would you observe the following in regards to marshalling and awards.
The marshalling area is in the Tower Gym. The entrance door is off the back straight of the track.
Reception
A reception for athletes, coaches and officials will be held immediately following the meet until 10:00 pm in the courtside lounge. Finger food, water, & cold beer will be served. We look forward to your participation.
The Aileen Meagher International Track Classic is sanctioned by Athletics Canada and Athletics Nova Scotia
Must be a registered member of Athletics Canada through a provincial branch or registered with your National Federation.
Cheques payable to Aileen Meagher International Track Classic. No Refunds.
Entries must include a 2009 or 2010 verified seed performance listed on National or Provincial rankings. Non verified performances will result in the athlete being placed in a slower section.
Regular Registration $25 per athlete is due by July 26, 2010. A $5.00 Change Fee will apply to any changes to registration that occur after the regular registration deadline. The Geezer Mile (age 50 and over) fee is $20 per athlete. The entry fee includes an M&B Transmission Geezer Mile t-shirt. Maximum field size is 25.
Late Registration: Late entries after July 26th. 2010, will be $40.00 per athlete. Late entry for the Geezer Mile is $20.00.
Athlete kit pick-ups begins at 4:00 pm in the Courtside Lounge in the Tower, Saint Mary's University on Tuesday, August 3.
Timing will be with Finish Lynx electric timing.
Doping Control will be carried out at the Aileen Meagher in accordance with Athletics Canada/CCES Policies and Sport Canada requirements.
Results
Results will be posted on the wall next to the stairs leading to the tower. Results will also be posted on-line. |
